Spring Designs

Can I just admit to a huge crush on the new nicey jane line
by heather bailey?
I don't think the colors could be more perfect...
I know that most think spring should be pastels and such.
-
But I like to break the rules around here =)
I think, after a long winter, sometimes spring should scream COLOR- don't you?

This line has the perfect combo of soft patterns and yummy colors-perfect for our transition to warm(er) weather and fun seasonal parties.
I created a knot dress and added an apron with pom-pom trim for good measure.
I never could leave well enough alone.

The bodice is made of a beautiful, crisp white pique-perfect for embroidering or a monogram.
Add leggings underneath as a cute accessory
OR
for a said wild child who cannot be bothered to act ladylike in a dress
(ahemm)
Knot dress (newborn-size 8)-$45.00
Sterling silver/colored stone/swarvoski crystal
necklace-$16.00
Blinged Flip Flops- $12.00
Hair Flower with fabric button center-$5.00
-
Seeing your 'lil one light up when it's in her easter basket?
Priceless.

Miracle

Weighing in at 1 pound 5 oz,
this baby girl
-Kynlie Faith-
has been a fighter since day one.

She captured my heart the moment I saw her photos and read her caring bridge site.
Her parents are a couple from my small hometown and her mom, Ashlee did a great job updating her site and prayer requests. Heartbreakingly, Kirstin- Kynlie's twin sister- was still born. It seemed an uphill road for Kynlie, full of unknowns and challenges.

***
Born 16 weeks premature, Kynlie faced what seemed insurmountable odds. Prayers flooded in from everywhere. Her caringbridge site received tens of thousands of visitors in her 3 + month NICU stay.

And today, not only is Kynlie a fighter,
she's a winner.
.
Because Kynlie went home last week.
.
Home to the nursery prepared for her with love.
Home to the family & friends who prayed for a miracle.
-
Prayed for a miracle & received, all gorgeous 5.5 pounds of her!

Imagine my surprise and delight when her mom ran across my website & contacted me to put together an ensemble for Kynlie. Ashlee said, after everything Kynlie had been through, she felt she deserved something custom made to go home in.
Well, I could not agree more.
She said she loved pink and brown together and let me take it from there.
Be still my heart, I love it when customers give me free reign =)
-
I kept sewing, measuring, trying to imagine how big 5 pounds would be.

Hand dyed beanie, Swarvoski crystals, ruffles, minky, raveled rosettes...
No detail was overlooked.

From the top of her head, to the bottom of her feet...

She'd be stylin', this lil Miss Kynlie.
.
"The best dressed baby to ever leave the hospital",
as one sweet customer put it!
As always, it is the photos of my little customers wearing their clothes that bring me SO much joy! Mom Ashlee was great about emailing adorable pictures of Kynlie wearing her Pampered Tots Boutique ensemble.
.

Though this baby girl would look beautiful wearing a brown paper bag, I'm sure of it.
Is she the most precious 'lil thing or what?

I loved being a part of your homecoming, Kynlie Faith.
You are a true miracle.
A true gift.

Watch out world,
Kynlie's taken' you by storm.

Back to Sewing...

I was thrilled to be asked to design and create a special first birthday outfit
for a very special baby girl.

Baby C. was having a luau for her birthday theme. Yes, only in Arizona can you have a summer luau party in NOVEMBER.

Her mommy asked for bright colors, flip flops, and ruffles.
I think I came up with the perfect combo!
There is nothing that I love more than seeing my creations on customers. The personalities behind the clothes is half the fun for me!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEET BABY GIRL!
What a perfect party, full of friends & family.
You are SO loved!
Also, I am "closing up shop" next week.
My boutique schedule is already full and I'm currently completing orders that have come in.
I may do another open house, please email me if you'd like to be notified
or
check back to the blog.

Happy Holidays, my
wonderful PTB customers!

I'm BaAack...well, almost

Have you given up on me yet?

{photo credit: Andrea Whittle}

Thanks to my wonderful, friendly customers who have checked in on me and are still asking for {Pampered Tots} Boutique to return. As you may know, our little prince has arrived. On April 11th, we welcomed Brayden Paul to the world. He is a precious, amazing gift to our family. It has been quite a journey adjusting to four small littles. I'm finally getting my bearings here :}

...and so, you have been wondering.

When will I be {opening} back up for orders?

I've been accepting hair bow and accessory orders for a few weeks now.

Clothing/blanket orders will be accepted {on a limited basis} starting Nov. 1st.

...Just in time for the holiday season, hurray! It's coming soon- I'm so excited.
I have a ton of new ideas, new designs, and wonderful merchandise that is starting to fill up the pretty shelves in our studio.

Please email or call me with any questions. Thanks so much & Happy Fall y'all !!

WHERE to begin?

First of all, I want to thank you so much for your patience as Fall/Winter items were created and orders sent out. As some of you know, we had a flood in our home which left my sewing room a disaster (and it didn't need much help as it was). Regardless, it was a great excuse to purge the room and start all over, this time organized and fresh! What a blessing in disguise :)

I have over 130 pictures of happy customers and designs from this past/current season. However, apparently photobucket has taken a disliking to me and I've had a few glitches along the way. Hopefully it will be up soon because there is some SUPER CUTE photos!

In my attempt to keep this short :) I just want to let you know that Pampered Tots Boutique is taking a BREAK. I have completed and shipped out all orders to my wonderful customers. I am taking a leave because in a few short months I will be holding (our final) brand new baby boy. I really need to take this time to prepare our home and family AND do a little sewing for our MUCH-ANTICIPATED Prince!!

I want to thank you so much for all the emails and interest in buying custom clothing and accessories from Pampered Tots. I have been really overwhelmed (in a good way!) of the support and patronage of so many wonderful customers! Emails will still be returned and hair bow orders are still being taken with a one week turnaround.

Any questions, please contact me!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU again !!
